Prudent contractors realize surface similarity of  machines means little after maintenance, repairs, reliability, and longevity are analyzed…quality construction always costs less and earns them more!

Design/Value:

The Model 350 is of narrow design which allows the trucks to position closer to the finisher conveyors; this eliminates unnecessary hand work.

Strength/Value:

High-strength steel is used throughout the construction of the Model 350.  The Model 350 has been designed to assure a long initial life, and replaceable wear parts assure an extended life beyond that.

Performance/Value:

The center Pivot Clevis, mounted to hardened chrome slide rails, allows a free floating action that keeps the complete beam assembly directly behind the truck at all times.

The Layton Model 350 Quick-Hitch consists of two basic components: one is fastened to the paver; the other hydraulically attaches to the truck.

The Quick Hitch fits all trucks: single axle, tandem, or semi-dump.  It allows positive truck hook-up on all tires from 8.25×20 through standard balloons.

In addition to preventing costly spillage, vital horsepower previously wasted by the truck brake resistance is now released to increase paver efficiency- this permits faster paving speeds and eliminates excessive wear of the paver’s mechanical power train.

Fingertip control allows the operator to attach the paver to a truck in 4 seconds.  No time is lost in hooking or un-hooking the Layton Quick-Hitch.

The built in flexibility of the Layton Quick-Hitch enables pavers to operate more efficiently under all conditions.

The Layton Quick-Hitch will not interfere with the paver’s automatic screed control.  The Quick-Hitch requires from 3 to 5 gallons per minute of hydraulic flow at 1,200 to 1,800 PSI.
